Next weekend, two fun art shows! Curly Tale Fine Art Gallery in Chicago will hold their opening reception for Wonderfully Weird Wonders on Friday evening, June 12th from 6 to 10 pm and Cactus Gallery in Los Angeles will have their opening reception for These Birdly Delights on Saturday evening, June 13th from 6 to 9 pm. That gives you plenty of time to get your cross country flight lined up to attend both! đ I will have new work at both galleries. Birds and Weird things…two of my favorite subjects! The images from my dreams are what you will find created in 3D at my show “Woolgathering”. It will take place at the award winning north county San Diego gallery – Distinction. The show runs from May 9th through June 6, 2015 with the opening reception being Saturday evening, May 9th from 6:00 to 10:00 pm. Ukraine Art Exhibitions
Along with the Doll Art Show, Kiev, Ukraine also has a Bead Art Exhibition and both had coverage in this Russian magazine.   I wish I could show you all the fabulous works of beaded art. Included in the magazine are patterns and instructions to create the most awesome necklaces, etc. Their beading skills are of the same high caliber as their doll making skills!
The show published a big, full color catalog and each participating artist got a page featuring their work. Here is my page – and my name in Cyrillic! I’m having so much fun studying all the styles of the different artists. This was a wonderful experience! Â

GOBS – the happy, harmless variety of goblins. Best gob buddies, Frazier and Nash love a good card game and their game of choice…Go Fish! Later they will indulge in over-eating their favorite – marshmallows with mustard for dipping. Looser buys!
