Attention dog lovers and others, though I can’t imagine there being others! The Dog Days of Summer opens this Friday evening, August 5th at Curly Tale Fine Art in Chicago. Precious and Sweety Pie will be there along with lots more canine inspired artwork! Woof.
Tis the season to attend fabulous events! There are two art shows on opposite ends of the country that open this weekend, December 4 & 5, 2015. If you are near Chicago, be sure to check out Curly Tale Fine Art’s Krampus Gift Party. If you are on the west coast, don’t miss Dollmination at The Hive Gallery in Los Angeles.
A big thank you to Schiffer Publications for including my work in their new book The Art of the Contemporary Doll.I am in fabulous company with the work of more than 50 doll artists from all over the world – many of which I am pleased to call my friends! It is a most lovely hard cover book full of over 220 photos of art dolls in very diverse styles.
Next weekend, two fun art shows! Curly Tale Fine Art Gallery in Chicago will hold their opening reception for Wonderfully Weird Wonders on Friday evening, June 12th from 6 to 10 pm and Cactus Gallery in Los Angeles will have their opening reception for These Birdly Delights on Saturday evening, June 13th from 6 to 9 pm. That gives you plenty of time to get your cross country flight lined up to attend both! 🙂 I will have new work at both galleries. Birds and Weird things…two of my favorite subjects! If you are unable to attend either show, you can see all the work here: http://www.cactusgallery.blogspot.com/ and https://www.facebook.com/curly.t.art
