Cactus and Curly Tale - Denise BledsoeNext weekend, two fun art shows! Curly Tale Fine Art Gallery in Chicago will hold their opening reception for Wonderfully Weird Wonders on Friday evening, June 12th from 6 to 10 pm and Cactus Gallery in Los Angeles will have their opening reception for These Birdly Delights on Saturday evening, June 13th from 6 to 9 pm. That gives you plenty of time to get your cross country flight lined up to attend both! 🙂 I will have new work at both galleries. Birds and Weird things…two of my favorite subjects! Ordinary Fruit Bats - BledsoeThe proper term for a group of bats is “colony” or “camp”.  I like “camp”.  It makes me think they sit around a fire and make smores so I’m going with that.  These little battys have stuffed themselves and are ready to tell ghost stories.  They range in size from 2 to 3 inches and are 65. each.
